Xiaomi has just launched another entry-level phone from the Redmi 10 series in the Nigerian market. The new Redmi 10A adopts a design that is similar to the already announced Redmi 10C and bets on a large 5,000 mAh battery and low price to stand out among competitors with support for 4G networks.

The Redmi 10A comes with a 6.53-inch screen, HD resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 400 nits brightness, supporting the traditional 60 Hz refresh rate.
In addition to the screen being the same as the Redmi 9A, the Redmi 10A is powered by the same Helio G25 processor from MediaTek, having eight CPU cores and clocking up to 2.0 GHz.
The device also reuses the 13 MP sensor camera with an LED flash and features artificial intelligence, HDR, and recording up to Full HD at 30 fps. The front camera is only 5 MP.
Its 5,000 mAh battery is the highlight, promising long-lasting power combined with the low-resolution screen. The device has a 10W charger included in the box and still uses the old micro USB connector instead of the latest USB-C already widely adopted even in entry-level models. At least the fingerprint reader is present on the rear panel.
