Two months after the promise of the announcement , HiSense is finally making its e-ink screen book reader official: the Touch Lite, which comes with support for music playback and Android, allowing you to perform various tasks with it, becoming a strong competitor to Amazon’s Kindle.
Starting with the screen, the Touch Lite comes with a 5.84-inch black and white e-ink display with technology similar to the Kindle, which allows saving energy and is ideal for reading for long hours and has color temperature control. The resolution is HD with 1440 x 720 pixels and 287 PPI.

The multimedia suite also includes support for 32-bit/384 KHz audio in AAC for the stereo speaker system. There’s even a 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth 5.1 for headphones, while the HiSense Touch Lite is recharged via USB-C.

Speaking of recharging, the book reader has a 3,000mAh battery that promises a long life thanks to the e-ink screen. Storage is 64GB while RAM is 2GB paired with a Qualcomm quad-core processor. The system is based on Android 11. There is only one front camera for face unlock.
Price and availability
HiSense Touch Lite is currently available on AliExpress for US$299 in direct conversion via the official store. It is worth mentioning that the device is only available directly in China, so you have to import it, which can create additional costs with customs duties and taxes.
